Sarah Peng a lecturer by day, stand up comic by night shed a lot of light on how and why she becomes a big city girl in China. We try to identify the cultural difference in the comedy scene between the different parts of China and Singapore and how it bridge the expatriate in China and the chinese community. Being a lecturer by day, she talks about needing to hold a professional image and why she had a career change from law and took teaching as a career instead. We also talk about how self driven to reach financial freedom in both Singapore and China and how does China’s policies allow girls to have the freedom to do what they want and how she thinks that it may be a waste sometimes. Though I made a backward comment about getting a job in China. However we come to a conclusion about financial freedom and happiness.
